We're commercial lighting specialists, which means we deliver full project lighting from photometric design through to supply and commissioning support, but we also supply individual office lights, ceiling lighting and downlights for replacement and maintenance work. For open-plan office lighting we typically specify a combination of recessed LED panels (600x600 or 300x1200) and linear suspended luminaires. The goal is 400-500 lux on the working plane (per SANS 10114), UGR <19 for glare control, and CRI 90+ for visual comfort. We'll specify the right mix based on ceiling height, partition layout and the type of work being done.
Yes. We supply SANS 10114 photometric design as part of every commercial lighting and office lighting project. The report includes average lux on the working plane, uniformity ratios, glare ratings, energy modelling and a product schedule. For suspended ceiling office installations we specify recessed LED panels in standard 600x600 or 300x1200 sizes, which drop into a T-bar grid without modification.
